I have an adorable little doggy who can help but to shed his fur all over my house and almost all the time.  Seems worse in the winter.  As Christmas is approaching you may have the same problem as I do and are wondering how to get your home dog hair free.  Below I have listed some great ways to remove that unwanted dog hair mess!

Lint Rollers:  These are rollers with a handle and sticky film designed to roll over many surfaces.  These are great for furniture, curtains and clothes.  Once it is full of hair and ineffective, just throw it away and pick up a new one!  It’s so great you will jump with jolly good joy until you can’t jump no more!

Rubber Gloves:  Buy some rubber gloves from your local rubber glove store and put on a pair.  After you put them on then moisten them with a little water.  If you have an empty spray bottle you could fill it with water and spray your gloves.  Wipe over carpet, furniture, curtains or clothes and watch the magic happen right before your very eye balls!  The moisture helps the dog hair not to cling to your gloves.  This makes it easier to ball up and simply throw away.  It so much fun you will buy some big white marshmallows and do the chubby bunny!

Vacuuming:  I believe this is the best method for removing dog hair out of your carpets, furniture and drapes.

There are several things to consider if you’re looking a good dog hair catching vacuum and there are also there are and ways help your current vacuum be more successful at collecting the dog hair.  I have listed some advice below to help you achieve ultimate vacuum success!  Because your success is my success!

  1. Check reviews online for good dog hair vacuums. This will help you buy one without having to return it for how it bad it sucks.  Get it suck?  He he
  2. Find a vacuum that has a good agitator brush. The brush is important because it needs to brush well in order for it to properly remove the hair.
  3. Look for one with powerful suction
  4. Lower the height settings to help collect deep embedded hair
  5. Change your bag often
  6. Keep your brushes clean. (If hair raps around the brush just simply cut with a sharp  object).  Then it works like the Bee’s knees!

Balloon:  Who knew right?  Blow it up and rub it on carpet, clothes, drapes or upholstery and then watch the static on the balloon do all the work.  While doing this make sure to have a small trash can with you so you can and the surface of the balloon and place the hair into it.   Continue to do this until you see no more hair!  Also rub it on your hair and watch it stick to it by static electricity!   You will laugh until you can’t laugh no more!  Its jolly good fun!

Replace your hairy dog with one with shorter/less hair:   Just joking…
