Usually when someone books a job with a professional carpet cleaner the company will often send out pre-instructional information that helps both the technician and the customer before the cleaning. If you are thinking about having your carpets professionally cleaned you may want to know what is required for the best experience. Below Quality Care Carpet Cleaning has provided some information that we like to send out. You might find this helpful!
Dear Quality Care Client:
Thank you for trusting us with your carpet cleaning project. Our goal is to provide you with the most outstanding service experience ever. When we’re finished, your home will be sparkling clean, fresh and beautiful – guaranteed! Here are some suggestions for you to prepare that will help both of us:
- Please vacuum your carpet before we arrive.
- Maintenance cleans typically do not involve any furniture moving unless requested. Please remove as much furniture from the room being cleaned as possible. Any small pieces of furniture such as dining room chairs, magazine racks, plants, end tables and any other small to medium furniture should be removed from the rooms being cleaned. This will shorten processing time and return the carpet to normal use sooner.
- Please pin up any full length draperies so that they will be at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Also, please pin up any skirts on upholstered furniture which may be touching the carpet.
- Remove all breakable items from furniture which will have to be temporarily moved from its regular location.
- For the safety of our technician, no item over 50 pounds will be able to be moved. China cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, antique and fragile furniture cannot be moved. We can edge right around the base. We have spray shields on all our cleaning wands so your furniture is not at risk.
- During the pre-inspection walk-through with us, please advise your technician of any spots or stains which may require special techniques.
- For your pet’s peace of mind (and ours!) please put them in a safe, quiet place where our cleaning won’t disturb them.
- For safety sake, be sure to keep an extra close eye on your curious little ones.
- Most importantly, if there is anything we can do to make this experience a better one for you, please let us know.
Thank you for working with us. We look forward to serving you.
Special after-care information::
- To decrease drying time, turn on any fans, do not open windows, and keep the room at normal temperature.
- When traveling from damp carpet to a hard surface we recommend placing a towel to wipe your feet to insure safety.
- Wait until carpets are completely dry before replacing items removed from the room.
- Some deep-set oily and protein stains will be removed during cleaning, but over a period of time they may “resurface” from the pad. If this happens, just give us a call and we’ll attempt to remove these stains again at absolutely no cost to you.
