At Quality Care Carpet Cleaning we like to create post that are outside the realm of just cleaning.  The one we have for you here is a bit different because it gives good reason why any business should to quarterly emails to their customers.  This post may interest you if you are a business owner or considering becoming one.

When sending emails to your customers you want to be careful not to try to over sale.  They will remove you form their email list.  Also always provide relevant information.  Give them something of value.  At the end, lead them to your website or list some specials relating to the topic you wrote about above.  The point is leading them to you and keeping post with them.  For me its to remind them that I am the professional carpet cleaner and they don’t need any other service for that.  My information is always in front of them.

Below is an example of a recent quarterly email.  It helps to prove my point.

 

Thanks for having Quality Care Carpet Cleaning service your home.  We will be sending out a quarterly email to provide our clients with information that would be helpful to them.   It’s also a way for us to keep in touch, as well as, answer any questions or concerns about your carpet, upholstery or tile.

How to handle heavy spills:

You may have experienced spots that disappeared when you cleaned it up right away, but in a few hours or the next day you noticed it reappears.   This occurred due to the product making its way past the backing of your carpet and saturating your carpet pad.   The best way to handle this is to use a folded cloth towel and blot out as much as you can.  Next, use a vinegar-hot water solution (1:4)  and pour generously into the carpet and pad.  Then blot up as much of it as you can.  Next, leave a different towel folded with a heavy object on top and allow a day or two for the spill to absorb into your towel.  This should resolve the issue
