Start by grabbing some paper towels to soak up the waist. Then lay something heavy on top of the towels helping to absorb as much waist as possible. Let it saturate for a few minutes. You may have to replace paper towels when they appear to be soaked. After you have absorbed most of the moisture then rinse the area with hot water and finish by blotting it up with a paper towel.
