Tips For Cleaning Up Dog Hair

Lint Rollers:  These are rollers with a handle and sticky film designed to roll over many surfaces.  These are great for furniture, curtains and clothes.  Once it is full of hair and ineffective, just throw it away!

Rubber Gloves:  Buy some rubber gloves, put on a pair and then moisten them with a little water.  Wipe over carpet, furniture, curtains or clothes.  The moisture helps the dog hair not to cling to your gloves.  This makes it easier to ball up.

Vacuuming:  I believe this is the best method for removing dog hair out of your carpets.  There are several things to consider if you’re looking a good dog hair catching vacuum.  Also there are and ways help your current vacuum be more successful at collecting the dog hair.

  1. Check reviews online for good dog hair vacuums.
  2. Find a vacuum that has a good agitator brush
  3. Look for one with powerful suction
  4. Lower the settings to help collet deep imbedded hair
  5. Change your bag often
  6. Keep your brushes clean. (If hair raps around the brush just simply cut with a sharp  object).

Balloon:  Blow it up and rub it on carpet, clothes, drapes or upholstery and then watch the static on the balloon do all the work.  While doing this make sure to have a small trash can with you so you can and the surface of the balloon and place the hair into it.   Continue to do this until you see no more hair

Replace your hairy dog with one with shorter/less hair:   Just joking…
