How to Remove a Tomato Sauce Stain from Carpet

  1. Use any utensil to remove the tomato sauce spilled. Make sure you work from the outside in to keep it from spreading
  2. Club soda or water should then be applied. Blot with a towel or sponge. Then dry with a clean towel.
  3. Then mix a tablespoon with two-three cups of water. Blot well with a rag. Then rinse with water thoroughly.
  4. After trying the above method and the stain still persist then try 1 tablespoon of ammonia with ½ a cup of water. Apply then blot up. After this rinse well.
  5. If the stain remains try this. Use 1 tablespoon of Hydrogen peroxide and 3 tablespoons of water. Let it dwell for about 35 minutes. Then rinse with water. Just remember to check often to make sure you carpet is not discoloring.
