How to Remove a Tomato Sauce Stain from Carpet
- Use any utensil to remove the tomato sauce spilled. Make sure you work from the outside in to keep it from spreading
- Club soda or water should then be applied. Blot with a towel or sponge. Then dry with a clean towel.
- Then mix a tablespoon with two-three cups of water. Blot well with a rag. Then rinse with water thoroughly.
- After trying the above method and the stain still persist then try 1 tablespoon of ammonia with ½ a cup of water. Apply then blot up. After this rinse well.
- If the stain remains try this. Use 1 tablespoon of Hydrogen peroxide and 3 tablespoons of water. Let it dwell for about 35 minutes. Then rinse with water. Just remember to check often to make sure you carpet is not discoloring.
